After a morning of shooting potatoes (!), I popped my head into the workshop. One mustn’t forget the workshop! Without wheels on a farm, everything comes to a halt! I’ve been commissioned to document Loch Buighe farm in Ixopo this year, capturing the various operations, its employees at work and the landscapes. I love this photography as there is so much variety. This particular farm has a number of crops and operations and I know by the end of this year, I’m going to have a huge folder of images that will all end up going into coffee table book.
I have a few farm photography options available. I do everything from capturing a farm over a year, single operations, landscape shoots, commercial and promotional photography and seasonal shoots. As well as documenting Loch Buighe Farm, I am also in the process of documenting my father’s farm as a 70th birthday gift. The images will be put into a book at at the end of the year.
Have you thought of booking a shoot for the farmer in your life? A fathers day gift voucher or a birthday voucher? Something different this year perhaps?
