Just before heading off to Senegal to photograph rice, I stopped in at Loch Buighe farm to photograph some brushwood being burnt. I’ve been documenting Loch Buighe farm over the year and all farm operations must be captured! It’s been a great learning experience for me to have so many different operations going on in one place! I’ll be continuing to document Loch Buighe farm in 2020 and will be focusing on dairy, maize and potatoes for the next couple months.
Pulling up the roots for burning!
Gathering brushwood and adding it to wood piles for burning
Feeling the heat!
Fueling the fire, literally!
