My goal is to capture your business’s story and the authentic moments that make it what it is. My approach is to help my subjects feel at ease in my presence, to connect with them and to create a relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere. To capture the moments and expressions that are natural and convincing, that best express your business.
Many of the commercial shoots I have done are for businesses in the process of designing their website or upgrading it and needing quality imagery to show off their product, service or brand. With a commercial shoot, I can provide Environmental portraits,(images of people in their workplace) documentary imagery of your business, product photography, head shots and architectural and interior photography.
Recent commercial shoots
Venns Attorney’s, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa
“I entered the world of attorney’s a couple weeks ago, admittedly a whole new world for me to photograph. I spent the morning photographing the action and ‘everyday’ of the Venns team in their new premise located in the Victoria Country Club Business Park. I noticed how behind the face of Venns, there is a huge team of staff who make it all possible. Right from the kitchen head who bakes scones fit for a queen, to the file handlers who plough through piles of files 1 metre high in a morning (I am truly in awe of that!) to the senior lawyers who exude experience and some super funky coloured socks! Here are a few images of this dynamic team.”
Rhythmic Arts Academy, Amanzimtoti, South Africa
“I had the pleasure of spending the day at this dance school and capturing all the dancers in action, from the young budding modern dancers to the women’s adult burlesque class! I have been loving the variety of photoshoots I have been commissioned with recently, from farmers, to lawyers, to software design, to dancers! But there is one thing they all have in common which is why I love doing what I do so much – all these people are fiercely passionate about what they do and it shows! And I get to capture it! It’s inspiring!”
Murray Roberts Bladesmithing, Dargle, South Africa
” Murray required imagery for his website and for marketing purposes. For this shoot, I mostly went with a documentary approach with the intention of capturing the feel of the space, the mood and the passion Murray has for for his craft – an art that requires skill, precision and a whole lot of patience!
I take my hat off to people who have the courage to take the risk to start a business and follow their dreams. What better pleasure is there than to wake up everyday to a job that you love?!
